We disagree on the degree of significance of budget during Shy's first years but clearly speculation by both of us. Nonetheless we can agree that budgets do impact a coach's job

In that regard, our position within the MWC has declined. Thus, I contend our good coaches win despite being hamstrung and our coaches would be that much better if our AD was better. In other words they win despite Burman.

If he ever gets our budget in the top 3 in the MWC, I'll give him all the accolades in the world. As long as he asks our coaches to do more with less, I'll give the coaches all the credit.

BTW, I agree. Burman is better than that POS but still....football is still in shambles. Basketball is coming back from the dead.

Although Burman should get an atta-boy for the Shyatt hire, he played a small part in bringing him back (and was the final stamp of approval). But let's not put Tom right up there with Jesus Christ just yet. After 8+ years on the job, I expected a MWC championship (in anything) a tad sooner. But those are my expectations as a Wyoming fan.

I wonder if for every MWC sport, where we didn't finish in first and take the title, if a thread was started to bash him (and un-thank him)? Was there such? I have only been a member for a short while. Sorry if that is a rhetorical question.

That isn't saying much. Lee Moon ranks right down there a stale dog turd. So Burman isn't stale (yet). Comparing Lee Moon to anyone with a pulse and a tan is insulting.

Ironically, Lee Moon's basketball team is also going to the Dance. Moon is AD at North Florida, a 16 seed. Strictly FYI...
