That would be a minor miracle. Honestly, keeping it within 15 would be a pretty big accomplishment.
If they try to run and gun with Tech, it is going to get ugly quick.

If we could shoot a little better from 3, we will be very tough to beat.
The team should be proud of themselves. They came to win that game and you could see it in their demeanor from the opening tip. Lots of credit to the players and the coaching staff.
All that being said, this year's Texas Tech team is nowhere close as talented as last year's Elite 8 team was. Toppin is a phenomenal player, but I was not overly impressed with the guys around him. I don't think Texas Tech finishes the year in the Top 25, but they are likely a tournament team.

TT played 7 with 5 grabbing the most minutes.
If Wyoming had a true big man that could have disrupted Toppin and we win this game.
I am definitely excited to watch Wyoming basketball. As I stated, I have seen a few times in the past 50+ years that I get a feeling of something good and this team has me in that mode. It doesn’t mean the results are a top half finish this year but if Wicks can keep much of the roster and add to it I like what might be possible. Having a chance in the final 2 minutes on the road tells me this Wyoming team is not a pretender piling up wins Shyatt style for the conference fold like a cheap tent run. What I like is with playing 12 deep I never really dread seeing a substitution like I would have with most Wyoming teams once you get past 7 deep.
