He isn't in Medical school though, he is an undergrad. If his goal was pre-med leading to Med school at the University of Washington that can actually be accomplished through WWAMI by attending Wyoming.
I would say that an up and coming PAC-12 program, and all that entails, has more to do with him being at Washington instead of Wyoming. Nothing wrong with that. I dont care personally, but I don't see the point in pretending it isn't about football. Boise recruits at a high level despite a lack of academic draw and many PAC schools recruit players that don't really belong at their high level academic institutions (see Tedford, Jeff and the APR situation he left at Cal).
We will have a shot to recruit players like Bartlett if we build a consistent winner. Simple as that.
I'm familiar with the WWAMI.. one of my best friends used to coordinate it for the University of Montana. Probably a little bit easier to get in if you're a known quantity at Washington than being a remote student at Wyoming.
But really, Seattle's a pretty cool town, and I'd live there if I could figure out how to afford it (ie live by the water). Can't blame him for expanding his horizons and playing football for a pretty respectable coach who has that program absolutely dominating right now. Just because you leave Wyoming doesn't meant you don't want to be a part of it anymore.. how do you think this site got started.
