That's all they are, are rumors. TCU's AD or Prez (I forget which) has gone on record saying that they are not leaving. And even if they were, they will be here for next year. Plus, all of the TCU fans on the MWC board have said they want to stay in the MWC (TCU Robert not included as he is most likely a moniker of several other "Roberts").Fullback41 said:At this point I don't care for any of them. If the rumors are true about TCU leaving I would like them all to lose a game and miss a BCS bowl game. I used to want them to go to a BCS game to free up another bowl game for us, but after the last several months I am over rooting for MWC defectors...I thought we were all fighting for the same thing but they are all a bunch of sellouts. I will actually root for CSU to beat BYU, that is until the rumors of them leaving the MWC surface.
If there is one thing I learned from the last round of expansion, it is not to jump to any conclusions until it has officially been announced. Like the Big 12 South to the PAC over the summer, every unofficial report had them joining, and look at what happened. Same with Mizzou to the Big 10.Hell, I am ready for UW to whore ourselves out to ESPN and play any night of the week, lets go independent not much stability in conference after all....just joking but a little sick of the MWC sellouts.
I will add that if the crazies got their way and we moved out of Div 1 I would have to take up a new hobby. I would NOT support that change in any way shape or form.

Out of all the crazy stuff that can happen going down to 1AA will never happen. That will never happen, because we get paid 1.5 million for a contract with the mountain. Big sky teams get paid around a hundred fifty thousand for their tv deal. I also saw a post a while back on how Montana will likely have to jump up to d1 because of lack of revenue.

Is TCU one of the top 2 teams in the country?
Is Utah over-rated?

They will say Utah was overrated, but I believe TCU really is a top 2 team.
You'd think and hope so, but I don't think it'll happen. The only way that happens is if Oregon/Auburn lose and that didn't happen today. Sadly enough this is the last big game left on TCU's schedule to show how good they really are. I think that they'll close the gap between them and the other top 2 schools but won't overtake them.MrTitleist said:Wow... TCU destroyed Utah.. jeez. That should propel them into a top 2 spot.
Wyo2dal said:TCU should easily catch #2 Technically #1. If you look at the previous weeks and how the jumps went Auburn came from absolutely nowhere to pass TCU and BSU.
Week 8 auburn was 4th in the nation and they went against #6 LSU and barely beat them 24-17 not exactly a domination but that 24-17 win they leapfrogged from 4th to 1st.
TCU being 3rd in the nation beats Utah who is 5th in the nation by a dominate 47-7 in all fairness TCU should be #1 in the nation they should make the 2 spot jump to #1. Now since they are MWC they won't but they definitely should be #1 after tomorrow.
