TCU and the BCS

If that win today was not a statement game and does put TCU in the top two in the BCS then nothing will. Oregon struggled for a half with Washington and Auburn played Chattanooga, who are they. TCU beat the number 5 team in the country by 40 points, I am not a TCU fan but if I had a vote after seeing that game today I think I would have to vote them as No. 1.

I am starting to believe that the BCS FEARS THE FROG!!!

Watch for the Big East to invite TCU on Monday and they accept.

Just a prediction.

I'd have too vote them #1 as well. And you're absolutely correct if this game they played today doesn't put them over the hill and into one of the top 2 spots nothing will (except losses by either of the top 2 teams).

I see it happening too, but I also believe it will be a bad move. It will be a move like Florida State did when they joined the ACC, being the class of the field. The Big Easy is overall a weaker conference than the MWC and hopefully TCU will realize that.

Just had a long comment about this game and about where TCU may go but it did not go through and I ain't spending another 20 minutes typing it all out either. Ticks me off.

In short I'm glad TCU beat Utah. Pac 10 should have invited TCU not Utah or Colorado. Big is is bad for TCU for some reasons including Big East may not survive the building of superconferences.

After Texas' 10 years 120 million dollar deal with espn for the Bevo network many here in Texas believe Texas will become independent in football and leave a spot open for a team like TCU. Personally, I don't kow that Texas will really go indy.

I posted this in another thread but here is how I feel based on previous weeks.

TCU should easily catch #2 Technically #1. If you look at the previous weeks and how the jumps went Auburn came from absolutely nowhere to pass TCU and BSU.

Week 8 auburn was 4th in the nation and they went against #6 LSU and barely beat them 24-17 not exactly a domination but that 24-17 win they leapfrogged from 4th to 1st.

TCU being 3rd in the nation beats Utah who is 5th in the nation by a dominate 47-7 in all fairness TCU should be #1 in the nation they should make the 2 spot jump to #1. Now since they are MWC they won't but they definitely should be #1 after tomorrow.

It sounds like TCU got the invite, but they turned it down because they refused to go only football. Here is a link to a story by SN:
