LOL We were just talking about him. Oh well.....he was a long shot at best for Wyo....better than Nebraska, right?

Well damn. At least the corn fuckers don't get him.
Exactly....I thought he was Lincoln bound.....salt in wound....At least with Florida, Wyomingites can support the kid.

Nothing to be disappointed in here... He didn't go to CU, CSU, or Nebraska. He's one of those kids only the top 10 schools in the nation had a shot at.

Sucks we can't keep our in state talent. He sure chose a place a looong way from home.
Apparently, he lived in Florida until his Sophomore year.

You sure about that or are was that Fort from Gillette? I know he moved from Orlando to Gillette.

Not 100% sure, only remembered one of the Wyoming recruits for 2014 was originally from Florida.

That would be Austin Fort, the QB commit from Gillette. Bryan doesn't have any tie to Florida that I have seen. Kind of surprised that was his pick to be honest. Thought he was heading to be Husker or Sooner. I have my doubts that he will last at Florida, maybe we get him back on a transfer in the future.

If I had to choose between living in Nebraska, Oklahoma, or Florida, it would be a no brainer. Non of these places have hills and get hot and humid as hell. This is just me, but I'd take Wyoming in a heartbeat....but I'm not a college age kid either.

I am, but I have never liked big cities. And I have never gotten along with heat. And truth be told, small towns, like Pine Bluffs small, are far more comfortable to me than places like Denver, SLC, or Las Vegas.

My mother lives in the Tampa area and my wife and I recently vacationed in the Keys. The tropical feel is nice, but it does get old. Plus, strange things grow in places that never see the freeze.

I live in Denver, and to be honest, it doesn't bother me. It's like living is a bunch of connected small towns. The traffic and dick head people are what bother me most.

I live in Seattle and I agree with you. All it feels like is a bunch of small towns connected together. Once you live in a big city for awhile it isn't that bad and I personally like it now. The traffic is the worst part but I just try to stay in my area of the city and not get on the freeways.

Oklahoma City is the same as Seattle. Bunch of small towns connected as one. Sadly people here can't drive worth a shit when the roads are icy.

If I was Bryan I would pick Florida over Wyoming or Nebraska in a heart beat.
He is 18.
He might end up living in Wyo forever after college, why not get out and explore? Go somewhere new? Meet new people?
And it's not like he owes UW anything.
Let's see, go to an SEC school where he will get to play in some of the best and biggest stadiums with over 100K people every saturday for 4 years, be a part of a truly great program, and conference that serves as the NFLs minor leagues, play with and against the best players in the country, get to spend time in hot sunny florida with tons and tons and tons of babes vs. Same old Wyoming that he has known for 18 years, playing against crap MWC teams in front of 18K people.

I think it is funny that people on this board are already in the early stages of criticizing him. Saying "Well I would have picked Wyo over Florida" and "Florida is too hot and stuff".
It's ridiculous. Laramie, WY/MWC over Gainsville, Florida/SEC?
Really? No one in their right mind is picking Wyo over Florida as a team to play college football.

This is actually what I was thinking...and hoping haha. Go out to Florida, get homesick, and come back home. Of course I will be hoping he has a fantastic career either way. I'm glad he's going to Florida over Nebraska though, that would have stung a bit more to see him in Husker red.

Beav, you need to relax. No one is knocking the kid. Florida is too hot. It's flat too. But, If you read my post I said, I'd pick Wyoming over Florida, but I'm not a college age kid anymore. Meaning, I've been to both places a few times and Florida isn't my cup of tea (for more than a couple days anyway). Of course it's a no brainer....just like it would be a no brainer to pick Florida over Nebraska and Oklahoma.

I think we all wish him luck.

Go Pokes!!
