Kelly Walsh is Kelly Green (obvouisly  ) and Gold.

they've been moving from the gold to black for a while now as well

I am trying to remember if I saw both Laramie and Sheridan using black for a basketball uniforms too (Laramie using Black & Maroon and Sheridan using Black & Blue). Didn't Green River use all black for football for a while?

By my count, 3 Cheyenne schools, both Casper Schools, both Sweetwater County schools, Gillette and Riverton all definately use Black significantly in 4A/5A alone. This all started with Lander and Wheatland has been mentioned.

I sometimes expect out Pokes to follow suit since everyone in Wyoming thinks all-black is a suitable replacement for anything and everything.

in fact...it looks like my senior year was the last one that they used gold at all

You went to KW? I was there fgrom 1989-Jan. 1991 beforee my family & I got transferred to OKC during my Junior year which still pisses me off. Although the high school I ended at had a kid who just signed with the University of Wyoming :thumb: :willybs: :D and the high school's football team was actually good (won state in 1991). Plus the chicks were HOT!!!

Blue and Gold. I hate it

Isn't Wheatland one of the schools that started using black as a primary and only uses the real colors for highlights?

Lyman and Mountain View also did the same thing for a while.

I have never seen anything on them other than Blue and Gold

Well...yes and no. The music I listen to is from the '80s. Everything else is 80s/90s. Although I do enjoy the advances in plastic surgery on women now a days. :D

Cheyenne East was powder blue and black in my day. Now, is it mostly black with blue accent?
What? I thought you were from the black and white era. They had color back then? :winky:

It sounds like there is going to be another round of sharing facilities mess up in Casper soon.

Who were the best, 6'1"+ athletes in Casper this year?

Oh, shit...now what? Only reason why KW had it's mess with asbestos in 1989 was some dumb fool accidentally punched a hole in the wrong place while doing renovations to the building just a few days before school was supposed to start.

Shit its news to me. But then again I haven't made it to many games in the last few years. The game I went to this season they were in White with Blue and Gold

It was funny, in 2001 Rock Springs used a Cream colored orange And White as secondary and then black as trim. It wasn't real bad but, it was kind of during that phase that UW was changing their colors to softer tones too.

there's a 5-year plan to renovate/rebuild/update both schools

The upshot is that both Casper schools will have larger enrollments than almost any school in the Denver Metro when the project is done. They are also building a third facility that almost all of the students from both schools will commute to and from during the day for special lab classes.

The brand new building will share space with Roosevelt. As I understand it, the state initially planned to build a brand new 3rd high school, but the school board wanted to try out a new concept instead. The new concept called CAPS will make everyone commit to a career track and then drive back and forth to get special industry-focused training during the day at the new building. Again, the state had agreed to build a 3rd High School in Casper at NCSD#1's request, but then NCSD#1 changed its mind after the state agreed to the money.

At least any new growth in enrollments will be limited to the two existing sports programs instead of allowing three teams in town now that Cheyenne and Gillette are spreading their kids out over additional programs.

Thanks for the news. I don't hear much from Casper anymore eventhough I hadf a lot of friends there. Please keep me updated.

Eventhough I'm a legal resident of Oklahoma, my real home is in Wyoming.
