I always have high hopes that these wyoming kids become starters at some point in their career. Wasn't Mertens a walk on from colorado? Be nice to see one grow up and become a star. I think I always root more for a kid that walked on and plays.

Back in the Paul Roach Era, Our All-American DE Mitch Donahue started out as a walk-on. It can happen.
But I've seen Tanner personally and I don't know? Granted it was his SO season. Maybe he has improved since then.

Same here. However, my class was the first to have the black jersey.

Weren't both Thaxton and Talich walk ons? Didn't they both start at MLB for 4 years?

Personally, I am tired of almost every team in Wyoming using black as their primary color. Even Gillette has tried to make black work as a primary.

Isn't Wheatland one of the schools that started using black as a primary and only uses the real colors for highlights?

Lyman and Mountain View also did the same thing for a while.

they've been moving from the gold to black for a while now as well
