Going to try to drive up there, depending on when my brother shows up.

Edit: also, how are the cheapest tickets $32 for this game? I can go to stupid Air Force games in Colorado Springs for $8 with the Denver Post discount.

I agree. Simple answer: Because UW football is back

Ok, not really. IMO, it is simply because everyone of us are hapless fools who refuse to throw in the fan towel. I paid nearly $50 per ticket...but am stoked to go. Wait until Oregon comes to town.

Sidenote: People contemplating the USU game, StubHub and Vividseats have some great deals right now to that game. Like $10 per ticket.

Face value on my tickets is $59.00 - and I am not kidding.

UW should try like hell to get 33k into that stadium for every game in September, and be creative if they have to get it done. Sell-outs in the "good" weather month is a must.

If more people showed up, maybe ticket prices would go down? (Probably not). Since no one shoes, especially late in the season, prices have to go up to cover just running the place, let alone any sort of profit.

If there's not enough demand at a lower price, though, raising prices generally means you'll sell even less.

At least tickets for kids are cheaper, so there's that.

Back in 1990, general admission tickets to each of Arkansas State and San Diego State, both I went to, were only $11.

Gawd, the good ole days were cheaper.

Minimum wage was $3.80 and a pack of smokes was $2.00 how times have changed.

Like I said. Plus rock 'N rock was better too.

Its not about maximizing attendance its about maximizing revenue. Lets face it there are some of us(most on here) that will pay almost anything (within reason) to go to the games. Then there are others that will go if the price is low enough. If they lower the price they have to get enough extra tickets bought to make up for those of us that would have bought them at a higher price. As an economist, that would be a fun thing to research. What is the optimal ticket price to maximize revenue.

Of course we could always do differnt price tiers. Do we still do "knothole" tickets? But since our stadium isn't full very often most people would buy cheap seats and sit where ever they like without more enforcement which would cost more.

I'll be with you guys in spirit from Seattle, WA.

+1 I will also be with you guys in spirit from Seattle.

Do you guys watch anywhere in Seattle? I'm staying in Everett, but planning on heading into the city and playing down by the pier most of the day.. maybe catch the Sounders that night.

Just saw this.

Not that I know of. No one has ever put anything together. There seems to be a decent amount of Wyoming alumni out here though and I know a couple of other people who post on this board live out in this metro area. There is plenty of places you can watch games at . Might be something we could look at doing for other football games and basketball games this season.

$59 for which game?

My UND ticket is $57 face value, but I got a presell deal or something through Twitter.

UND - home opener. Season ticket holder. Printed right on the ticket. I will look to see what the face is on the other's. I know the UNLV ticket is discounted, but it should be (11/28 game, students gone, Thanksgiving weekend, etc.) Will it be the game that could get us bowl eligible though? Not sure there is 5 wins before then...
