Taking WyoNation Board Attendance Game 1

Me and three more will be there on tickets I have. We will have at least four others in our group was well.

Had plans to go but they fell through......I guess I will be glued to twitter and this site.

I'll be on the road from work...cheering the Pokes on from Austin, Texas. I suppose there are worse places I could be if I can't be in Laramie.

+1 I will also be with you guys in spirit from Seattle.

Do you guys watch anywhere in Seattle? I'm staying in Everett, but planning on heading into the city and playing down by the pier most of the day.. maybe catch the Sounders that night.

Where would you guys suggest the best place to tailgate is? My only game was last year and they had the visiting fans tailgate in the Willet lot by the baseball field. Is there anywhere that a large group of students tailgate or just wherever you find is good?

If I do go, I won't be able to shout (good or bad). Why? Well, for one, I've barely been able to talk for about 4 months. The other is because I was told to basically not "talk" for the next couple of weeks to try and help my voice get better.

Well...the genius's at UW determined a few seasons ago, that by god - no matter the weather, they should host the bulk of tailgating activities inside the IPF. After a year of that shit, they decided, whoops...we better grow tailgate on the outside a little - because for at least 1/2 of the games the weather is georgous, and some folks want to enjoy the sights and sounds of fall outdoor tailgating & football. What a better way to do that they decided, than to bump the price of a parking spot, for a few rows of parking (right outside the IPF) up $500 to $1500 - for the 6 game juggernaut schedule against such vaunted competition. So it is set. Tailgate in the IPF with the 100 year olds and 5 year olds (and help ruin the turf surface), or buy a spot for $1500 to tailgate right outside the IPF.

But there is more to the story. There is the fun bunch, that said FU - and kept their summit view spot, and have awesome parties without the cost and BS. SO...I would head that way if I were you! BYOB, and some to share, and you will have a great time. You may even get a handjob behind the dumpsters at the Hilton Garden Inn. Which is a nice addition to tailgating.

How much does it cost for a spot in the summit view lot? I'm sure I'll be the only person with a Spartan head on my back window and CA plates so shouldn't be too hard to find me.

In all seriousness...how far do you live from the stadium? You can easily walk from almost everywhere in the area - from downtown to the stadium is about a mile to mile & half is all. A lot of folks park around Washington park and walk (or in that area). Find a party & join in...most folks are fairly laid back. The Summit view lot spots are tied through the CJC, so donor driven ($300). Below is the link:

I will be there with wife and son. Driving from Colorado Springs. Will me meeting 2 from New Mexico and a few more from Casper.

I live just past the golf course off of greys gable. Not too far. I'm going to hold off on the donations just for a parking spot. I have enough money tied up in school donations right now that I'm not even there to enjoy. Thanks for the link.

Walk down 30th to Willett, and head west on Willett. You will pass the visitors (where you were last year) and on your left before 22nd street is the summit view lot, where (for the most part) everyone is welcome.

Unfortunately, I'll be listening to Dave and Kevin via the inter webs here on the East Coast. However, I'm working on coming out for the CSU game in November and I'll be at the Appalachian State game in October.

It sucks so bad, first game of the year and we have to listen to it #%@#^$@#^ :(

Going to try to drive up there, depending on when my brother shows up.

Edit: also, how are the cheapest tickets $32 for this game? I can go to stupid Air Force games in Colorado Springs for $8 with the Denver Post discount.

I agree. Simple answer: Because UW football is back

Ok, not really. IMO, it is simply because everyone of us are hapless fools who refuse to throw in the fan towel. I paid nearly $50 per ticket...but am stoked to go. Wait until Oregon comes to town.

Sidenote: People contemplating the USU game, StubHub and Vividseats have some great deals right now to that game. Like $10 per ticket.
