TAKEOVER OF CSU

Who's going?

I'm making it from Rapid City. Where's everyone else coming from and what's the estimate of Wyo fans there?

We can't even fill the War. I think asking for a takeover of an opponents stadium might be a bit much to ask out of our fans ;) jkjk

Fortunately there's a lot of Cowboy fans in Colorado and driving to Fort Fun is better for them than Laramie.. plus, a lot of WY fans will be trekking down.

I tried persuading a friend of mine to just watch it on TV instead of going. Told him we beat Air Force without too much of a problem... so he said he just might stay at home :D

I can't go myself since I'm teaching a class on XBees (http://www.sparkfun.com/products/10910) all day. Hopefully nobody will ruin the score for me so I can watch it when I get home.

I figure if I get a CSU fan to stay home and convince a few friends of his to watch at his place rather than at the stadium, it counts for as much as hauling my own ass there.

I guess you'll just have to give yourself a little Wyonation ban until you watch it ;)

It's gonna be worse than years past. I've slowly noticed more and more poke fans showing up for games in foco these past 2-3 times we've gone down there. CANT WAIT!!

Just found out that I can't make it. Damn work. Someone else will have to get drunk and call out old men and young boys to fight after we win for me.

I live in the people's republic of Fort Collins so I will be there no matter what the weather. I bet you can buy a ticket on your way into the stadium for 10 dollars or less. csewe has lots of reverse scalpers. In fact, I remember a friend of mine haggling with a "scalper" who finally just said "here, take it" and gave him the ticket!

Your class on XBees intrigues me. I assume you will teach one outside of the CSU game as I plan on going to fort collins saturday.

Yeah, I think that class will be taught approximately every three months or so. Cheer extra loud for me, since I can't be in FoCo. ;)

Just got off the phone w the wyo ticket office (bought 5 myself) and was told the Wyoming allotment of tickets is down to about a dozen. I have a feeling there are going to be many more Wyoming fans showing up and buying tickets at the stadium from colorado and cheyenne...CAN'T WAIT!!
