Tailgaiting advice

Just moved to Wyoming from Virginia and coming to game Saturday. Just wondering if there is a good deal of tailgaiting before the game? Can you tailgate if you don't have a parking pass? Do the police hand out tickets if you have a beer?

By the way, I'm a UVA grad and we're still bitter about the opening season loss in Laramie in 2007.

You have to be in the parking lots to tailgate/drink. There is some decent tailgating in the tailgate alley near the Indoor practice facility(also tailgating inside wit hbeer sales) decent tailgating across the street too in the summit lot. There is info on some of the board members tailgate in another thread. Everyone is pretty friendly and welcoming in my experience.

I personnally usually end up tailgating at the bar until about an hour or so before kickoff then find some friends that are tailgating and maybe have one more befroe heading inside.

Several of us setup in the Summit lot across from IPF. Even if you park elsewhere you can walk over.
