I think UW could have easily afforded Tad...2 + years ago. Not now.

I have wondered what UW looses (or has lost) in ticket / concessions revenue (revenue not profit) the last 6 or 7 years (total and each year). Looking just at this year, versus, say 2003-4, it appears the losses are roughly & conservatively in the 1.2 - 1.3 million dollar range. Damn.

I said this two years ago when he was at UNC, and I wish Burman had pulled the trigger on Schroyer and got Boyle then. I agree that we could have afforded him, and I think he would have stayed for at least 3 or 4 years. At the time, I also thought it was a little early to make a decision on Schroyer, but hindsight is of course, 20/20.

Oh what could have been!
