Super Bowl

Wow......I'm still speechless.

I've said it a million times.....football is won in the trenches. Denver can have its 55 TD passes and 22 million passing yards from Manning. I'd rather have a deep D-Line any day of the week. Humbling experience for Denver, and a sign of things to come for Seattle. They are young and have room to improve on offense.

And with that.....the off-season really begins.

I think it was much more than the line play.

Offense, defense, and special teams, just dominated Denver.

I was wanting to talk SB earlier today but not now. I thought Seattle would win but I wanted Denver to win.

That's because Denver never showed up. My old high school in Casper coulda played a lot better against Seattle tonight!

I'm an early riser. At 5:45 AM, on Channel 9 News out of Denver, I saw an ad by Dick's Sporting Goods selling "Denver Bronco XLVIII Super Bowl Champions" Hoodies, t-shirts and hats...

I laughed out loud. Somebody forgot to pull or change that ad!

Oh well, growing up a Vikings fan and now a Bronco's fan also..Super Bowl Losses aren't that painful. I had fun watching them this season. Seattle is one bad ass team. They deserve it.

Seattle, San Fran, and Carolina would all whip Denver in a neutral site game with the Super Bowl on the line.

Denver is probably 4th best in the NFL. Green Bay with Rogers would give them a game, however. Indianapolis on a good day was also a tough team.

Still, playoffs are awesome. All of the best teams had a shot and nobody can complain.

I agree. And one step further - I think the NFC is head and shoulders above the AFC this season.

I'm sad for Champ in all of this... would've been way nicer to have New England get clobbered like this, because then at least I could laugh about it.

I am not sure it would have changed the result, but the season ending injury of Ryan Clady was HUGE!! All the focus this year was on Peyton, but Clady was the second most valuable Bronco (more so than Von Miller).

Ugh....

Sorry Denver fans on the loss, but thanks for taking over the distinction of "Most Super Bowl losses"

Signed,
Minnesota and Buffalo fans

PS. We'll take back the record if you give us one of your rings. We should've had that one anyways...stupid Dennis Green and Gary Anderson!

Good point. Peyton seemed extremely jittery in the pocket last night.

Seattle just demonstrated that you need a Brett Smith type QB. Denver needs to sign Brett. He will be right at home with the Denver O-Line. And Smith will stay in shape scrambling all over the field to keep from getting killed.
