Super 30: Mustang's Chandler Garrett found a peaceful end to wild recruiting process
Programs from all parts of the country were calling. Air Force and Wyoming. Kentucky and West Virginia. Notre Dame, Northwestern, Kansas State and Missouri.

Kansas State told him he was one of their top two quarterback targets, but they had offered someone else. Notre Dame wanted him to come to their campus, but they couldn’t figure out a date that would work, and communication dropped off.

“They (Wyoming) came down and watched me throw, then I went up there, and really liked what I saw,” Garrett said. “I went in with low expectations, and they really blew me away. I liked it all. Their facilities are nice. I talked to all the coaches, and they were great.

“It feels like a place where I can really make an impact.”

This is a very very good recruit. Glad we got this kid.

Starting to like all of the recruits Bohl and company are picking up. Maybe we can make a Fiesta Bowl sooner than later.

Gotta keep recruiting these commits until the ink dries in February, though.
