Do you guys get thunder snow? It's the strangest thing ever. I'm not sure how common it is.

I don't consider earthquakes weather since it's just the continental plates moving.

And weather is just the movement of air.

Thank you, Mr. Science.

Hey. Just saying what it is. If it didn't get colder as u went up in altitude, we wouldn't have weather either. there is no weather really in the next layer of the atmosphere (mesosphere, is that right KD? I'm a bit rusty) because it doesn't really get any cooler as you go up and we can fly planes there.

Above the tropopause (the boundary troposphere and mesosphere) the atmosphere gets much more stable. There are still some strong winds, but it's too cold for moisture, therefore no clouds...aka weather. The movement of air is caused by the movement of earth and areas of high and low pressure. Stability is, in part, to temps in creasing or decreasing with altitude, but that instability alone will not cause "bad weather".

You see, this is why I'm a winter person, so much easier to just throw on layers of clothing when it's -40 degrees outside. While in summer, you can only take so much off. Damn police...

Just because I ran around looking something like this:

The cops didn't seem too happy with me:

So I put on my best face to try and get him to relax:

Well, there are also a TON of forest fires down in Colorado now, including one by Fort Collins and one that just erupted (almost literally) right outside of Colorado Springs. So, we're getting a lot of haze as well.

Sadly I'll be heading up that way towards Wyoming in 3-4 weeks.

Probably about '96.
That's not me ........
I can sing really well and dance well enough to have fun in life.
I just thought of it when I dressed in my white and started to sing the song.

Now I'm singing this...........
"but you turned into a coward. I don't care for the parts you saved".

se umili in public, sclav.

Those are Las Vegas type temps. It's hot here in Wyoming, but not that hot. We've broken the all time high record for temps about 3 times so far this month.
