Pretty solid underdogs in this one. Niu D held them in check and I'd like to think the POKES D is better. We'll see. Their D can also be decent. Certainly not a great team but upper end g6 team. PBJ only has 1 win against a team with a winning record. Can he make it 2 on the road?

10 1/2 is a big number. I'd like to think we could cover that and make a game of it. But who knows? csewe is so bad that it's hard to put too much into that win. Still, SDS is not some juggernaut to be feared. Win the turnover battle and protect Anderson. My biggest fear is they put the heat on him and he takes a bunch of sacks or starts throwing it up for grabs.

I agree that the line at 10.5 is big..I was thinking it might come out at about 5.5, I suspect the LV makers didn't give a lot of credit to the CSU win and gauge it a loss to a bad AFA team the week before. I am taking the Pokes and 10.5!

No idea on if SDSU is a good team or just average playing against lesser opponents. Their best win was against Cal but they had 2 defensive TDs in the second half to pull away. At the same time they were soundly beat by Washington State. Northern Illinois held SDSU to 6 points in what had be a boring game. From the brief glimpses I saw they seem to be better on defense and have good skill players on offense. 10.5 does not seem unreasonable given UW is inconsistent and Sawvel is generally outcoached.

From past experience, WY stinks on the road. I'd imagine Vegas still doesn't know what the UW offense has under JB.

WY is a Vegas nightmare...so inconsistent.

Looking to the game Saturday. It appears the loss SDSU had and their close game with NIU showed the opposing D LBs played out of their minds to close the run. NIU LBs were both in double digit tackles. They also forced SDSU into throwing. Eller and Johnson need to have the game of their lives Saturday and let the DBs feast on their QB play passing

This should be a defensive battle. Whoever wins the turnover battle will win the game. If the Pokes take care of the ball, they’ll be right there. Pokes in a close one, 17-10.

A Cowboys win tomorrow would be the best road win since ____________

If Washington St hadn't quit (losing their last 4 of year), I'd say last year.

Probably 2011 when we won at SDSU. Other than that, it’s pretty much been beating CSU, AFA, or New Mexico on the road. Yikes
