Oh, and we just watched Happy Gilmore 2 last night on Heat OD. A little gimmicky but it was funny. Lots of celebs especially from the golf community. I won’t ruin all of it, but when Scottie Scheffler said “oh, not again”. That was funny. My limited (about 2 hours) of playing with it experience:
Easy set-up and pretty intuitive to navigate if you have any familiarity with smart tvs, apps, etc.
I did not enter any of my login credentials into the various apps that I currently subscribe to. If you were getting this just for the app feature (paramount +, Disney+, etc.), I'm not sure it is a lot better than modern smart tvs.
Using the Heat apps, you really can get about anything. I'm sure I'm not unlocking the full potential of it, but was able to find a ton of stuff. Yes, I did get access to things I don't have a subscription for. The latter makes me wonder how long the Heat apps stay up, but for now, they do work very well to get a lot of content. If it makes 3 or 4 months, then the money savings will have paid for the box. Anything longer is saving money compared to what I currently do plus this has way more content access (looks to be viable option to Sunday Ticket, for example).
