Stream Test

Just got on said there was only two viewers and it worked fine on medium, but once i switched it to high it got jumpy and would pause for about a half second and resume doing that about every ten seconds. I know its not my internet as i have 30mbps dl. ill be getting on later tonight to try it again. Thank you for setting this up!

That usually has to do with your internet connection requiring a buffer because the feed is too fast. What speed of internet are you on?
 
Are you going to be doing any streaming on Veetle? At home I can access livestream but at work I use Veetle for my phone

I have comcast high speed cable @ 30 megabits per second which is really really fast. So i dont think its my internet but ill reboot my modem and router tomorrow and see if that helps at all.
 
I'd run a speed test and see how your results come back you are the only one with a delay on high so we need to figure out if it is just your connection or something else i need to work on for everyone before next week!

I'm a moderator on wiziwig and I run the NCAA section. TBH... I usually come here for links to the Poke's games, both football and basketball. So first of all, I want to thank you for one of the best fan forums I've come across in my 5 years running our forum. Big thanks as well for the consistently excellent streaming by Wyo2dal and for linking our site.
My mission is to spread the love of college sports with out spam, which I hope you don't consider this post to be. I hope we will get a stream for the Horn's game, but so far I don't know of any streamers who regularly stream LHN. For some reason I'm fairly confident someone will step up. There are more streams than ever available this year and that's really encouraging. Every week I'll do all I can to find a stream of UW and post it here. Often I don't find streams until after the game starts and I'm looking for a lot of streams.
Anyway, I just wanted to finally say hi and thanks, and let y'all know you've made a friend.

PS: Here are our links to some wyoming volleyball home games. The streaming platform is by a friend of mine, so I know it''s safe. To know which games will be on, go to CBSports ULive and if there's a little camera by the Wyoming game it should work.

If memory serves, it's the first link that works for Volleyball. The second I think is an alternate.

Ran this speed test from SLC to Denver and this is the result. Right now the stream doesnt show a quality option, i think because its just the radio stream, but ill check back tomorrow and try again.

If anything if we cant get it to work on high i can still live with medium lol better than not seeing the game at all.

Im having the same problems as you. Medium works fine but high didn't work very well. I don't have quite as high speed as you but am at 15 mbps. Might be a problem with my computer. I will keep working on it this week if the feed is up.
I'm going to the game so it doesn't really matter. I was just trying to get it set up for my girlfriend and some friends.
 
Ok this is crazy, my son in law is one of the players from Germany. I'making the trip to Austin and wouldn't miss this game for the world. But his family in Germany would give anything to watch the game. Is there a way they can stream it on their PC's from outside the US ????

Thanks in advance for any info anyone might have that could help them watch.

All they will need to do is log on here at gametime Saturday and click on the link "Livestream" in Wyo2dal's sig line. Hope that helps :thumb:

Ran it to Phoenix, it was hosted by Brinkster Comm. About the same just a higher ping but still thats not a bad ping at all.

 
Thanks Wyo2dal. Thanks to you I have been able to watch almost all wyo games basketball and football. Watching live in 3 weeks when cowboys take down Cal Poly!
 
I tried this last night and could barely get through the stupid Samsung commercial. I don't see a way to adjust the quality, how do you do that?
 
I'm guessing i'll be needing to use the low quality stream when I'm running off of union cellular service?
 
Any plans to do another stream test on the live feed from LHN before game day? I'd like to test the setup that I'll be using on gameday at least once this week. Let me know if/when you have plans to bring the LHN up on Livestream again.

If no other tests are planned, do you know what time on Saturday you'll start streaming the LHN? Just want to make sure I've got any bugs worked out so i can sit back and relax with a few cold ones on game day. Thaks again for making this happen.

I'll get a stream going right now. I'm going to leave this stream up for 2 hours so feel free to post any feedback.
