This! How the hell can kids from Fort Lewis shoot us out of our own gym and we can't hit water from a boat.... It's been alarming under Shyatt. This team definitely has shooters but last night was ugly shooting. Hopefully it was nerves jitters and rust.

I don't see any shooters on our team honestly. It drives me nuts. After last night I know we aren't going far because we can't freaking shoot. Wide open looks vs a soft DII defense and we can't knock down a dang shot. Mark my words this season is going to be ugly. We can't do the most important thing in the game of basketball - shoot he ball in the hoop. Honestly not one above average shooter on our team.

I really thought this season would be different, and it still may be. But last night I was quite disappointed in our shooting, especially from three. We hit 40% from three and we win comfortably in regulation. Gotta hit shots

Gorski is a very good shooter, but other than that nobody else is a consistent threat. We have a lot of guys that are marginal perimeter threats (Herndon, Dalton, Adams, Washington, Lieberman, Jmac, Marshall), but nobody other than Gorski that really scares the defense as a perimeter shooter and Gorski is too much of a liability on D to be a primary player at this point.

I wasn't totally upset with this as I know if they play Herndon, McMannanen and Adams more in that 2nd half we win that game, I really believe that. but it truly gave us great experience for our youngens and I really liked what i saw, Marshall is gonna be a stud(i call him rooster, with that haircut, lol) We did have a bad shooting night but overall we are young and it shows, but we'll be ok imo!!! Josh is gonna be a beast and will go for 25+ game in and game out!!!

I wasn't totally upset with this as I know if they play Herndon, McMannanen and Adams more in that 2nd half we win that game, I really believe that. but it truly gave us great experience for our youngens and I really liked what i saw, Marshall is gonna be a stud(i call him rooster, with that haircut, lol) We did have a bad shooting night but overall we are young and it shows, but we'll be ok imo!!! Josh is gonna be a beast and will go for 25+ game in and game out!!!

I wasn't upset either. I hate losing no doubt but this loss will teach our youngsters FAR MORE than blowing them out by 40. Papa Shy will have the team ready for Friday.
