There is a really great read about who was actually on Steamboat when that photo was taken of him back in the early 1900's. The story is in the Cowboy State Daily which can be found on-line. For all people that love the State of Wyoming and the University of Wyoming I highly recommend reading it. It will put a smile on your face.
 
That is a great story. I didn't know the history tied to the whistling sound - that makes the name all the more awesome.
