Season ticket allocations for the 2011 football season are now underway at the athletics ticket office. If you are a new season ticket buyer you may expedite your seat allocation by calling the ticket office at 307-766-4850 or 877-WYO-FAN1.
Sales Continue to Rise for 2011 Football Season. . .
As of Tuesday morning, a total of 9,343 season tickets had been purchased for the upcoming football season.
Camps Underway. . .
Camps for various UW Intercollegiate Athletics programs are beginning this week. Swimming begins the camp season with its "Start and Turn Camp I" which begins this Friday and continues through Sunday. Football's individual camp begins on Sunday. Tennis and Soccer open next Monday (June 6). Men's basketball opens its camp season with "A Day with the Cowboys" Camp on Wednesday (June 8). Men's basketball's individual camp begins on June 9, and the first camp for women's basketball starts June 12. We will keep you posted on all of the various camps.
Stampede Memberships. . .
Students can become Stampede members by signing up online. Membership includes: the official t-shirt of The Stampede: a membership card for the rewards program; first opportunity to pick up Nebraska football game tickets; receive discounted parking and membership from the Cowboy Joe Club; first opportunity to purchase student guest passes for the Nebraska game (should they become available), and the first opportunity to pick up/ buy postseason basketball tickets.
Cowboy Joe Club News. . .
Members at the Wrangler level are now on the clock for the opportunity to purchase additional Nebraska tickets. The opportunity for Century-level members will begin June 13, and run through June 24, or while tickets are available. Due to the high volume of requests we will not be able to accommodate all members at that level. Therefore tickets for Century members will be allocated on a priority-point basis. Any requests that are not filled will be placed on a waiting list. If tickets become available, those requests will be filled. To guarantee your order we suggest Century members increase their giving to at least $300 (Wrangler) or purchase season tickets. To increase your giving level, please visit wyomingathletics.com.
The Golf Series resumes Saturday (June 4) with the event at the Golf Club at Devils Tower. The tournament begins at 1 p.m. The tour returns to Worland on Monday (June 6) to makeup the event that was postponed two Saturdays ago. That event is scheduled for the Green Hills Golf Club.
