Anybody else see this? Rams assistant coach suspended for anti-gay slur at bowl game. He called the opposing QB a fucking faggot! I would assume they were getting their ass kicked at this point.

Fans here in Fort Collins are mad that the focus of the Denver news media after the game appeared to be on the coache's suspension rather than them winning the bowl game.

That kinda pissed me off. Actions have consequences. Coach Lupfer needs to be let go. He can go work with DC at Utah! :lol:

Lupfer used to coach at Cal Poly. At UND, when the Sioux were beating his team, he yelled at the student section, "You still gotta live here!".

The dude is a loose cannon. Coach Mac should shit can him.
 
Lupfer is really bad. He should be careful what he says. What if the quarterback is NOT a fucking homosexual.
 
People are too damn sensitive as it is, The old sticks and stones applies here learn to ignore instead of crying to someone about it.

That dude has problems. He's lucky he only got suspended.
 
Agree people are too sensitive. Agree what he did/said is completely unacceptable. More bad publicity for the sheep. First the comments regarding some of the black players family situations, now this. Class class class up in Fort Collins.

Regarding the csewe coach: the Washington state qb supposedly spit on him. Don't know if that's true or not. If true, I would have done more than scream an obscenity at him.

Funny, a lot of self righteousness coming from Wyonation posters who have defended 1) Joe Glenn flipping off the Utah coach 2) DC sreaming multiple f-bombs at the Air force coach and 3) Luke Martinez kicking an unconscious drunk outside the Buckhorn. Talk about hypocrites......

1. Whittingham deserved it. Onside kick up 40+ to 0? I'm sure plenty of Wyoming fans were doing the same.
2. Troy "Howdy Doody" Calhoun is a real POS. You remember that kid that Kankolongo knocked out? Calhoun put him back in the game later on. You get knocked out, that means you got a pretty good concussion there.
3. Martinez kicking an unconscious guy? Yeah, that's not good, and he did time. Though the unconscious prick did take a swing at Martinez first.

As the the sheep coach and wazzou player? Well, a sheep is a sheep, unless they're wearing those pumpkin unis. And wazzou, well, going back to the Wyoming-Wazzou b-ball game in the CBI, I don't have much sympathy for WSU anymore.
 
These things happen......only reason it is a big deal is that it was caught on camera/etc. Heat of the moment......on a football field.....obviously it hurts to say anything good about the sheep buuuuut.....non issue. :twocents:
 
While I agree we're getting too PC in so many ways, I still think it's sad to use sexual preference as trash talk. Who bloody cares if a person likes to smoke sausage and take the dirt road 10 times out of 10?

Apart from in the case of bronies. Being called a brony is truly demeaning, and proper trash talk.
