Starting Freshman QB for bWHYu...

Kid is 22 years old...TRUE Freshman. 3 months removed from a stressful 22 months in Chile. Could be a 26 or 27 year old senior before it is all said and done.

And I know, every NCAA school has the ability - to utilize the mission. But only is it fostered, encouraged, and accepted as "the way" at bWHYu.

Wonder if things will ever change...

There are a few others outside of BYU, not many of course. Chris Weinke tried pro baseball before joining FSU as a 22yr old freshman.

I am going to start my own church were we worship American micro brews. We will send our youths on 5 year missions with steroids included with participation. After you serve your heavenly mission you will be encouraged to enroll as a walk on at the churches school (uw). Premarital sex and social drug use will be encouraged in the dogma ( sorry no docking allowed).No fictional gold tablets or magical underwear required.

He should consider going pro at this rate. He's going to be "too old" as a prospect if he plays all 4 years

We should take every new recruit and send them on a 2 to 4 year mission out in our oil patches, natrona mines, coal fields, and farms, ranches, and tourism. By doing so, they will understand our culture out here. They will have access to weights, get plenty of meals and exercise, and they will develop a strong work ethic.

Once they are back, they can redshirt. And then it is time to play some football!
