speed on the field

DC is sayin we have 9 players that are running sub 4.4 forty times. Don't know exactly who the players are but I assuming alexander, evan williams, possibly the gipsons. I hope we got some recievers that are on that level for speed.

Kankolongo (sp) is already on campus, so he is probably one of them.

Maybe some of the defenders and WRs as well?

I do as well, the longer a player is in coach C's winning edge program the better athletically they will get and hopefully translate to the field.

This is a good starting point, but we still need it to translate this speed to the field. The key is getting your players to still be able to run a 4.4 in pads.

I'm glad to hear that the Cowboys have some team speed. I'm tired of watching the CSU and WYO getting burned by TCU.

I want nothing more than the Border War (as well as AFA/the entire Front Range) to determine the conference championship. I'm tired of hearing about the big 3.

Too bad we lost out to Nebraska on this recruit...

Why does brasska always get the good ones? :tickedoff:
I dug around and found some stats on him:
5.7 40 (if he don't stop for a sandwich)
3" vertical (he can out jump Sylla)
1.12 GPA (well he is going to nebraska)

If we can get ANY player running a 4.4 in pads while also able to catch/hold onto the ball, I'll be very excited.
Imagine if ACS could get down to a 4.4!
(and yeah, I know it's extremely unlikely at best)

What I really care about is that our players run faster than the other teams' players in each and every game, without dropping balls or missing tackles.

Out of curiosity, will they be posting these "Cowboy Combine" results somewhere?
