We return a field goal kicker that didn't miss a kick(he had one blocked) until the bowl game. Ian Watts is pretty clutch. I like the dude, even with the surprise suspension. His name will be in the mix for all-MWC.

The Cowboys have an All-MWC candidate at punter as well. People may not love the rugby kick, but McCoy is effective at net yards. In fact, he did well nationally last year. McCoy is outstanding at starting people out inside their own 20. He's really good.

Wyoming has a kicker that can find the end zone consistently: yippeee!!! In addition, he's our starting Mlb and can really tackle in the open field. Our coverage should be excellent when it isn't a touchback.

At kick returner, we have world class speed. If Herron finds a crease he looks like he was shot out of a cannon. Some slow team like UNM or CSU is going to short kick us this year and end up looking at 7.

Christensen now has two full recruiting classes to play in coverage. That is going to improve our ability to tackle people deep in their own field position.

I know I'm sipping the kool-aid, but I have a feeling we MIGHT look extremely good on special teams.

Schober has been a pleasant surprise with the kick-offs... it was a position of dire need. With the weather and wind, I don't expect him to touch back everything, but at least gives us a chance to kick it deep at any given kick-off. That is something we didn't have last season.
