Craig Bohl has a losing record against teams with a winning record.
Craig Bohl has a losing record in-conference.
Craig Bohl still has a losing overall record.
Even if you take out the first two rebuilding years, Craig Bohl still has losing records in-conference and against winning teams, and is barely above .500 overall.
Still think he's God's gift to Laramie?
He fields some of the best defenses and special teams in the nation, but some of the worst offenses in all of FBS...yet refuses to recognize the problems with, and change, his offensive philosophy...whether it's scheme, offensive staff, or offensive player recruiting.
He had a massive opportunity to shake things up after Vigen left, and he goes and hires a coach from Iowa. (You get the point there if you pay attention to college football at all outside of the MWC.)
But hey, let's keep celebrating mediocrity because "muh bowls".
Don't get me wrong, Craig Bohl was an outstanding hire and I'm thankful for everything he's done for the program and community, but we need fresh blood in here to continue what he's built.
Craig "7-5" Bohl has turned the program into into the perpetual Wyoming "So Close" Cowboys. You can't tell me that that's our ceiling. Full stop. I'm tired of his apologists and there's zero excuse for his stubbornness causing us to shoot ourselves directly in the foot year after year.

The season was enjoyable up until the pass that was picked off last night to end the game. This young team showed guts and resilience all season long. The division was right there for the taking. The defense showed out, the team overcame a lot of injuries to have themselves in a position to win the game and set up another huge weekend next week against Fresno. They were on the doorstep, they were handed a gift of all gifts. I also saw that Bohl got a bit testy answering questions about the play after the game last night. It could have been special. We could have been going back to the championship game. It is just so damn frustrating being a fan of this team. Not to believe I am entitled at all because I'm not. I don't like fans like that. But my goodness, can we and will we ever get beyond mediocrity?

But if Bohl refuses to find a new OC who comes from, and runs, a modern offense and let him operate unimpeded...yea. Bohl needs to be gone.
I think this was the game that broke the camel's back and finally opened the eyes of some of the holdouts and Bohl apologists. We begged everyone to show up; in spite of the cold and everything else, a lot of folks did...only to be handed that [predictable and unsurprising] sh#tshow of an offensive performance. Capped by possibly the worst coaching decision and playcall I've ever witnessed, right after the game was gifted to us.
Maybe Burman gets the message if there's zero travel for Fresno State and the Bowl game, booster funding drops, and season/opener ticket sales for next year plummet. But otherwise, Bohl has yet again played the system and done just enough to not draw the ire of the powers that be.
Ticket sales, booster support, merch sales, TV viewership. Those are the metrics Burman (and any AD, really) is paid to be concerned about. If none of those change, then nothing else will change.

Dude promised a “re-engineered” and offense and hires a guy from f##k[#] IOWA.
Look at what Vigen is doing at MT State.
It ain’t the OC. It’s the stubborn dinosaur running the show.

Lol yeah. I made that point in another thread . Iowa. IOWA!!!! He is not interested in changing anything. I’m sure old bohlly’s attitude is that it was the defense’s fault we lost that game last night . SMDHSubcanis said:DamThatRiver22 said:Eh, I still think firing Burman is a bad call.
