Sony kicked microsoft in the balls, hard, at E3.

And all they did was announce that the PS4 would not charge for used games, not require constant internet access, not required to come with a device that may or may not be spying on you, better specs, graphics, and $100 cheaper.

Unless Microsoft rolls back on some of their policies and whatnot, they are going to get blown out 2010 Border War style.

Yeah I've been a Microsoft guy since the original Xbox. I've had an Xbox or Xbox 360 for the past 10 years of my life, but I'll be switching to PS4 this fall.

Sony is catering to the gamers, Microsoft is coming off as just businessmen who want to get into every gamer's wallets. Expect to see many people making the switch.

I've never seen such a blatant shot at a competitor in a press conference. Sony came out and basically made Microsoft their bitch.

The only downside I saw from Sony is that they're going to charge for online with the PS4. Last generation that was a deal breaker for me, but I jumped on the PS+ train about a year ago and love it. I would keep it even if it wasn't a requirement.

I'm thinking about buying a new console. I guess I should probably buy the PS4.
I have an Xbox and Xbox 360 that I bought years ago and played with my nephew but he doesn't do that anymore.
A couple months ago a cousin brought over her 5 year old and he was in a bad mood until he found my games. They all seemed so old now. He had to play the Xbox because somehow all the controllers I bought for the 360 managed to walk away.

Also, do y'all know if they make football and other sports games for PCs anymore?

Sports games are very limited for PCs. I think the last Madden game for PC was back in 2008.

Oh thanks. I couldn't find any when I went to buy some laptops a couple of months ago for some teenagers I looked for PC games for them too and could only find ones that I didn't like, like war games. So I didn't buy any PC games.
