Something to think about

Being a possibility is a long way from being a real threat to leave. I'm sure Coach Bohl has made the Top 10 candidates list for several openings in recent years, but I'd be stunned if he was actually offered a contract.

His overall losing record at Wyoming will not go over well with that fan base. He would have to be considered a very long shot.

Bolh's record is like 36-40 at Wyoming. He's trending in the right direction, but that's not going to get him any jobs

I get it all, I'm just saying, anything could happen especially if $s right, never say never
I'll say this much: it's laaate. After signing day and that program has major off-the-field issues. They've received two big no's already from Narduzzi and Fickell. Bohl is probably Plan K, but they just might get there.

Michigan State has screwed Wyoming over before. Most, if not all of you guys are too young to remember Bob Devaney, but he left Wyoming for Nebraska in 1962. He was Nebraska's 4th choice, but the other 3 guys they offered the job to turned them down, the last to do so was the coach at Michigan State. He's the asswipe who recommended Devaney for the job and the rest is history. He was 35-10-5 at Wyoming, and in his 10 years at Nebraska he was 101-20-2 with a national championship. He left coaching to become the AD at Nebraska. So, thanks to Michigan State, we lost probably the best coach we ever had. Like the others have said, anything is possible, but I have to believe Bohl would be way way down the list.

At this stage in the game - - putting a staff together is really difficult (although Michigan State money speaks). I'm not sure this would be ideal for Bohl but you never know. Half of this board will be ecstatic if this happen though because Bohl would undoubtedly bring Vigen along. I'm doubtful but there is definitely some cause for concern.

That’s not a good situation to be walking into. If Bohl took that job he would probably have a losing season next year. The fact that he is sub 500 at the FBS level and from a G5 school means that the MSU boosters and fan base would have a low tolerance for losing. He would probably be out after two seasons. Bohl is a smart guy, I hope he wouldn’t do that to himself.

Now we really have something to think about. With Mel Tucker going to Michigan State, I could see Bohl being a strong candidate for CU.

I don’t think that’s a cultural fit. I’m not worried about CU at all taking Bohl. Boise should be, though.

Yeah hasn't Bohl always preached that the way to build a program is to have the whole state (fans, professors, Governors, etc.) buy in? That ain't going to happen in Boulder
