Solution for Wyoming - Rivalry Week Game

If Utah and BYU avoid Wyoming because of fear of losing, then WTF are they doing playing Utah State the last few years? In-state embarrassment and lost to a non-AQ school.

I bet most Cougar fans would prefer a November game against Wyoming over their recently new-found November rival: the Idaho State Bengals. Come on now, UW figured out how to get Oregon to come to Laramie....they can get the Cougars at least with their flexibility as a lonely Indy school. Utah would be much harder with the Pac-12's 9-game conference schedules.

I would love for Wyo to play Utah at the end of every season. Not BYU, Utah.
But why would Utah want to?
Why would any PAC12 team want to play Wyo?
What is the reward in beating a crap MWC team at the end of the season? No reward.
Especially when compared to the damage done when by if Wyo beats them.
Plus the PAC12 wouldn't be too proud of their team representing the PAC12 in the Rose Bowl, fresh off a loss to Wyoming...

Pick a side MF'er. Either for WYO - or against WYO. For DC - or against DC. For the MWC - or against the MWC. Pick something. Coke or Pepsi. Just pick one and stick with it.

Dude fuck off seriously.
How many times are you going to try and pick fights with me over the internet?

I am for Wyo dipshit. And because I still like DC doesn't mean that we are fucking great.
Quit just trying to troll and pick fights.

I really don't feel that BYU fans would want to play us.
And I don't feel like they think we are a rival.
Maybe it's 50/50 for byu fans.

I think getting BYU would be easier to play us than Utah for the reason I said, but I do not want to play BYU. That is all I was saying.

I'd like to beat the hell outta Oklahoma State these days.

Let me guess....OU fan?

No!
Don't you remember........http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQJRaidesWM" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

No offense but Ragtime Cowboy Joe is much better than SMUs, Okie State's, and OU's fight songs combined.

Maybe UTEP can be a rival.
Many of y'all have wanted to play them again.

Isn't it only natural for CSU and Utah State to be our main rivals? After our bludgeoning in Logan, we should be ready for revenge.

Out of conference rivalries aren't real rivalries.

Okie State borrowed Princeton's color scheme and fight song.

Maybe UTEP can be a rival.

Nah. UTEP is a traditional easy win.....much like CSU aka Fort Fart!

Why isn't Nebraska a rival?
Weren't both programs elite back in the day? I don't know why Wyo and Nebraska haven't played every year for the past 60.

In case that last Nebraska question confused you peachfuzz, I am still for Wyoming. Just thought I'd let you know so you don't have any more dumb ass things to say.

The '83 score was bad.

Just because the CSU game is played earlier, doesn't mean it's not our rivalry game. Works so much better for attendance. I could see Utah State becoming our second rivalry. Location, recruiting, and fan bases are pretty similar. I like it!!!

Cool story. So because the score was bad in 83 means they can't play every season?
Or lemme guess...another irrelevant comment that has nothing to do with the actual question...

The most natural choice here for a second rivalry is USU. Look on NCAA football and hell they are a rival, but I agree similar story to us with Utah State so that might become a bit more of a rivalry as they are back in the same conference with us again.

Answer to actual question. No interest in anything BYU. Your first question has nothing to do with anything I said. You just made that up. The scores are there just to look at the history.
Being so smart and unfriendly to me makes no sense. You can foe me.

How about the closest we've ever gotten to beating them is 2 touchdowns?

Well I asked why Nebraska and Wyo aren't rivals then you brought up the 83 score...
But my question has nothing to do with it?
What?

Ok...my point is....both programs were good at 1 point...they have played 6 times?

So the 2 TD game has NOTHING to do with why they weren't rivals back in the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

I am so confused to what your point is...I asked why Wyo and Nebraska aren't rivals.
You said the game in 1983 was a bad one for Wyo.
So your reply has nothing to do with my question.
And no interest in anything byu? What the hell are you talking about?

First of all Beaver, you need to calm down....second of all, while both teams may have been "good" at one point, really Wyoming was good really just in the 50's and 60's, but I hardly would call them consistently good except for in the 50's and 60's (horrible through most of the 70's) decent in the 80's and 90's and not good all the way to present day. Third of all, Nebraska isn't considered a "Rocky Mountain" type of team, which would be the most logical explanation. Nebraska is considered to be in the mid-west and closer to teams like Mizzou, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas and Oklahoma. We've never been in the same conference as Nebraska, again, another likely reason. Other than those reasons which are pretty obvious I don't know, because I'm not 80 years old.......
