Solution for Wyoming - Rivalry Week Game

Since it is obvious that the MWC (along with CSewe & UW) want the border war played earlier in the year (for a multitude of reasons)...that leaves UW without a true rivalry game, the last game of the year.

I will probably get crucified, but I think UW needs to reach out to bWHYu, for the last game of the year - rivalry week. Alternate home & home. Would have no implications unless one or the other is undefeated, and would generate a ton of fan interest on both sides.

For 2013...they could have easily chopped one of the open dates, moved everyone up a week, and played the 26 year old rat bastards on 11/30 - here or behind the Zion curtain.

I don't agree. You play somebody 75+ times...just saying. You weren't at the last tilt in Provo in 2010 obviously.

Wouldn't be against playing YBU, but it would have to be home and home. That said, their pomposity will never allow them to come back. Unless LaVell Edwards was AD, which will never happen (too old), otherwise, good luck getting them to come back to Laramie.

All this video proves is that they think Laramie is a laughing stock and that they dislike the weather and that Wyo fans hate them. They've always viewed themselves as above us, too good to play against us. That's why we hate them so much. I agree with whoever said it's one-sided. They seemed happy that they never had to play Wyoming again, if it was a true rivalry they would be upset about it.

The only one that referred to it as a rivalry was LaVell and it sounded like he was just trying to be PC.

I'm amazed by that since the last time he coached against us in Laramie (vs. Dimel), Wyoming beat the crap outta them. I still have that game on VHS tape. BYU wore the god awful bib uniforms that year.
 
Wyoming at the end of the season > New Mexico State or whatever obscure FBS school plays at the end of the year.

Just say no to Nevada and Idaho State......This is a good idea.....one I think BYU would prefer to some of these other end of the years games.....unless they're really wanting to rev up that rivalry against the Bengals.
 
I unfortunatly live in Utah! I know please send your condolances but if I didn't love my wife so much I would be back in the 307! Byu doesn't care about us as a rival. Yes some Mormons do but most of them have some connection to Wyoming. Overall Byu barely cares about Utah State as a rival and good luck getting them to go home and home with us. They are getting home and home deals with Wisconsin and the big boys.

Yes I know they have scheduling problems at the end of the football season and I would love if they played UW b/c then I could go to the game in Provo but I just don't see it happening.
 
I hate BYU just as much as the next Poke fan, but I personally don't ever want to see us play them again. After the backhanded way they tried to destroy the conference, and tried to put themselves on an (undeserved) pedestal, I'd be just as happy to never see them set foot in Laramie again, in any sport. They made their bed, let them lie in it...

Frankly I see this as more of a benefit to them than to us. A game in November in Laramie (or Provo) is probably not going to draw a sellout regardless of the opponent, unless both teams are undefeated or something, and it makes it easier for them to fill their schedule each year with one less game to fill. Not to mention the opportunity for injury if we're headed to a bowl game, etc.

No, I say let the zoobies be. They serve no purpose to us on the larger scale anymore, regardless of the history of both programs.

Why would any PAC12 team want to play Wyo?
What is the reward in beating a crap MWC team at the end of the season? No reward.
Especially when compared to the damage done when by if Wyo beats them.
Plus the PAC12 wouldn't be too proud of their team representing the PAC12 in the Rose Bowl, fresh off a loss to Wyoming...

Pick a side MF'er. Either for WYO - or against WYO. For DC - or against DC. For the MWC - or against the MWC. Pick something. Coke or Pepsi. Just pick one and stick with it.
