I just learned a hard lesson I should've learned before. Never call out a public person on social media for not fact checking...
I was upset by their tweet at first, decided to actually go check what they were tweeting about, found that it was actually something to not be upset about, aaaaaand that's where I should've stopped. Instead I responded with a fact check article, and now I've got a nice list of trolls going after me after the person in question responded to me that they don't need to know all the facts because it's still sick.
Guess that's one fewer person thought was somebody to look up to?
