So what was the attendance for the shitout? Anyone go?

I heard there was something like 5,000...but I didn't see it in print. How many does the Events Center hold total for BBall games? Must have been pretty entertaining for those that went!

I was there, and it was pretty bad. Never heard an official attendance announced, but I was not impressed. Even though I love being able to attend a game without the two plus hour travel, and this point, they need to keep games in Laramie. Or at least only schedule inferior opponents for Casper. In the past, Casper has hosted Bobby Knight and Texas Tech, as well as Kansas State a couple years ago. As bad as it is, Northen Iowa is one of the better home games that we could have had. That should not happen.

I saw the attendance in the CST and can't remember the exact number, but it was a little under 5,000. I was there, but I don't live in Casper and I do have season tickets in Laramie. These are the things I was disappointed with: 1. The attendance numbers - a city the size of Casper should support it better than that. 2. The number of fans that got up and left about 2/3s of the way through the second half when the game was up for grabs - I guess those that left didn't want to mess with the traffic problems getting out of the parking lots. 3. The third thing I am always disappointed with (and always am at the events center) is the very, very poor traffic system they have getting the crowd out of the parking lots - what a bottle neck mess.
The Cowboys did play pretty good defense the last half of the second half.

That's been a problem since the building opened in the early '80s.

Loved the Events Center but they need to do something ANYTHING about the traffic after an event there.

4. The tittie pink floor. Cannot stand that floor and there is no representation of Wyoming or even Casper on the floor. Very bland floor.

I think the attendance was 4048 or so. I am pretty sure that is what was said on the radio afterwards. I too was amazed at how many people were leaving with 3-4 minutes left in the game. It was an exciting finish and the result was hanging in the balance, while people marched in droves out the exits. Very disappointed in the shootout. Had not attended for about 10 years, and now I remember why I stopped attending.

The Casper Events Center sells Beer. Point - Events Center.

Can't argue with that...imagine if the conservative old ladies in Laramie (and at UW) ever decided to make a push to put beer in the War & AA?!? Wow! And don't anybody give me bullshit about "on campus" blah blah blah. The beer garden has been open (and still is) smack dab in the middle of campus for years.

Used to be my favorite stop between the engineering building and White Hall.

I don't even want to know how much money my friends and I have spent in the beer gardens. There was a period there for a couple of semesters that it was at least 3-4 days a week in the gardens. Oh and btw...UW is one of only 16 Universities that allows the sell of alcohol on campus. Booyah.

IMHO alcohol related problems would be significantly less in the AA and War Memorial Stadium if beer was sold at these venues. Imagine the amount of money to be made off of champion Wyoming drinkers. We could afford Nick Saban.
