Offense will probably be a painful transition, since we have about 1 true TE, no FB, and an o-line that is not that good period. Wick and May will probably thrive it in it, Smith probably won't have to do as much, though he only has one more year, so they may just keep it the spread or some sort of transition offense for next season.

Do they run any power option similar to his days in Nebraska?
I think its straight up power run.
So how painful is this going to be? Is it an offense that is totally different than what Wyoming runs now that we will lose Thompson and Smith? I hope not, but from what you are saying there is a lot of difference. How many times in a game does N.D. St. throw the ball? and run? Yeah, we don't have a FB, and we only have one TE on the roster. Do they throw to the TE much? We have a ton of WR's, so I guess we won't be using the WR sets that require 4 WR's at one time very often. What will that do to our WR corp? Are their games low scoring affairs? Our defense better get a lot better in a hurry.
There are a lot of teams in the MWC that like to throw the ball and like to put up lots of points and defenses are usually the weak link in this conference. I hope that we are able to improve our defense and get some running backs and WR's with real speed. I guess it will be interesting.
