and just got a chance to get on the internet at a coffee shop in Krabi.....how'd we do against Bye? Did Cole's offense score a touchdown? Any recap would be greatly appreciated.

Better yet, how is Bangkok? And we want to know all the juicy details.

Thailand.. nice! Anything interesting over there?
Well, it looks nothing like Wyoming.
Everyone should go at least once...for the food if nothing else. Spent the past 4 days down south in the resort area of Krabi. Going north to the hill country to do full on touristy sightseeing at Chiang Mai tomorrow.

Land of Smiles! I go there once or twice every year. I've got a villa timeshare at Jomtien Beach near Pattaya with a private swimming pool. Been to Ko Samui as well. Draft Singha is most excellent, and Chang Beer is a good option if you like a beer a little heavier on the alcohol content (it's cheaper, too). I'd be happy to pass on a free week in the timeshare to anyone interested. Just e-mail me a mailing address and I'll send you info. Brew_Poke, keep us updated on your travels if you can.

It's my second time over, so I'm familiar with the Chang and the Singha. I really like it over here, and am planning on moving here in about ten years. My soon-to-be wife is Thai, and I'm here at her father's house in Bangkok now, taking the train north this evening. Our grand scheme is to buy a small place with about 5 guest cabins and a bar with a stage down in Krabi, which is heavy into the ecotourism (unlike Phuket), and I'll start brewing beer professionally again. Sounds like a nice way to spend my late 40s, 50s, and 60s, eh? When I get home, I'll post some pictures if anyone's interested.

Bye the way, how DID we do against Bye? Our offense still anemic? (Jeez, no one takes me up on my lame-ass joke.)

What beer did you brew professionally? I've always wanted to brew beer, just never had the time. Plus Missoula is chock full of microbreweries, so I'd be a very small fish in a very large pond.

Post the pics when you get back.

Well, You and I are definately going to have to hook up when you do that--I don't meet many fellow Pokes in this part of the world. And please post some of those photos--I look forward to seeing them. Bye 52 Wyoming 0
