So how long before...

Definitely not committing but am on the fence and would buy if it is reasonable.

What number?

#4 for Sailors? #22 for Nance?
 
I need to see if they can even be made, meaning if Nike will allow it. I have some emails out and am waiting to hear back. As far as numbers, I would probably choose a number that hasn't been used in a while. I am against the NCAA using star players numbers and not sharing the profits, so I would not want to use someone like Larry's number.
 
I got a response back from a team rep. He said if they are ordered by 2/1/15, then they will deliver 4/1/15. Just in time for the final four haha. Given that time, would you guys still be interested? Also, I would just do one number across the board. Makes it much easier. I am thinking 15. Thoughts? I am waiting to hear back on cost now. Since there are no logos, should be cheaper. I am planning on adding the logo to the shorts after I get them since the jersey manufacturer wouldn't put it on themselves. Here is a rough idea of what they would look like.

I'm still down let me know on the price, Biggest thing for me is the font of the text if that isn't right I would be pretty disappointed.
 
I personally vote for #4 for Mr. Jumpshot himself.

Ditto. I'd probably be in, assuming a reasonable price
 
We can do #4. I'll let everyone know on price. The font is called Kansas. It's not the same as the font in the picture I posted. The font that will end up on the jersey is the exact same as the real thing.

Not sure If 4 is the best number... Its retired to honor sailors. If players can't wear it, it doesn't make much sense to allow fans to wear it. I'm not saying the number should be 99, but 4 is kenny's number imo

I'd say wearing his jersey would be the ultimate in paying homage to him. Little different for player numbers than fans supporting it just my opinion.

Absolutely. We wanna wear it because he is the man and invented the jump shot. Baseball fans wear #42 jerseys specifically to honor Jackie Robinson. That is the point of it.

If someone of the caliber of larry nance Jr (skills and character) can't wear 4, I feel weird saying i can with my souvenir cup of diet coke, nacho cheese in my beard, and giving standing ovations to the dance team at halftime.

I am not too worried about numbers now. First things first, need to find out if these can for sure be made and what the cost will be.

Well, speaking of knockoff- Just back from a week in Korea and managed to score a badass Wyoming sweatshirt. Korean sew shop full of pro and college gear. Was surprised to see a stack of Poke gear. A good four or five different sweatshirts to choose from with embroidered Steamboats, lettering, etc. Actually very sharp and I like better than my Champion one.

:rofl: Please don't tell me that the Korean knockoff sweatshop shirts look better then the ones available at the Brown N Gold. Damn I don't want to get even more depressed about this situation, but hey who am I kidding Nike IS the ultimate sweatshop. Get your gear where it is good I guess. Still my situation will remain the same. The only way I score some official/replica gold Pokes shorts is if I know someone DEEP inside Nike or buy them from a team member themselves.
