AFA punches it in. 23-3 AFA. Defense has had their hands full, certainly can't be blamed for this loss.
My observationa and Opinions (from watching on TV):
The Pokes were 1-1 in this game They beat themselves and AFA beat them.
Cole is starting to make Cockhill look like a good coach.
Dax might be better on passes if he had somone that could catch one that is not directly on the numbers.
The Gipson brothers looked good against the run - fast and aggressive - maybe there's hope there.
Glenn should get his resume ready - things don't look like they're goining to get much better.

THREE POINTS??? THREE $#$%% POINTS??? We SUCK on offense. Were we trying to see how many draw plays can be run in one game? Mon, that was frustrating. IT looked like we were trying to out Air Force, Air Force.. Our Defense played good, they pretty much played the WHOLE game. This reminds me a lot of last year vs. AF Last year, we had 5 turnovers and no offense. Consistent I guess.. Sorry , I am just PISSED... We are going to get slaughtered by BYU, TCU, UTAH, and NEW Mexico. Looks like another year down the crapper...
According to people I know, Dax Crum is benched for next week vs. North Dakota State. Sween will be starting. The coaching staff is not pleased.
I don't have the stats here in front of me, but I think I remember Sween throwing 3 or 4 passes. The first one was complete for about 4 yard gain and the rest were incomplete. The last one was overthrown to a wide open Johnson who probably would have scored if he had caught it. I don't blame Crum for one of the fumbles because Crum was blindsided by a blitzer who came in untouched from the blind side. The coaching staff did notice that AF was stacking the line almost every play didn't they. We saw this all last year with Sween at QB and here we are again.

I am speechless, typeless, whatever. I don't have much good to say so maybe I shouldn't say much at all. I am hoping against hope that this team will rally after starting out bad and end good like they did 2 years ago (obviously, wanting a better start than 1-4). NDSU is a must win game.
After watching the AFA game 3 times I am perplexed. I won't give up on this team, we just need to win this game.

Mediocrity is just not acceptable for these Pokes! It all starts with our mediocre conference, you ain't gonna win the NC by simply bouncing around the MWC. You have to have exposure, and money. No bucks, no Buck Rodgers, right!!
First of all, get into a BCS conference. PAC 10, Big 12, Big 10 or so, I don't care. Money talks and BS walks, right!! And Wyoming has a nearly unlimited supply of money, just look at them coal trains! Yes sir-ee, git-er-done.
Them fellas wearin' them brown jackets with their gold ties, they are the ones to blame!! They have got the deepest pockets, and the shortest arms of anybody else in the world. Dig out the cash, put the entire campus at ewe-dub under a dome and get some palm trees planted. That is just for starters, now get out there and do some real (
) recruiting.
Quit trying to suck up to the local press, fans by recruiting these local boys, they just can't cut the mustard. You think Wyoming folks are going to flock to Laramie just to see their own kids play on the hallowed grounds of War Memorial? Heck no! We want to see real athletes, let those short, pale, slow, and inadequate athletes go out of state and fill the rosters of programs much lesser than the mighty 'Pokes!!
Heck, just take a look at Montana! What a friggin joke, they can only get 25,000 people to come to their games, and their roster is stocked with Montana athletes! Not to mention they have not won themselves a NC since Joe............oops!

Mediocre is a word that Wyoming knows all too well, but we don't know it this year. I am completely speechless. Joe Glenn better start gathering boxes. There is not nearly enough time to repair everything that is wrong with this team. This is the worst Glenn team in his 6 years so far. Our offense had gone backwards since last year. Crum is worthless, and we do NOT have a WR on the roster.
Hopefully Sween can turn it around next weekend, and atleast get this offense to the level it was last year, which might make us a .500 team by seasons end.

the grizzlies stadium is nicer then ours and holds 25000 and they get that every week there stadium is so loud its unreal while your there so dont bash on them and im not even a fan my cats played kansas state 69-10 and now play minnesota

Sometimes, it's better to be lucky than good. Cal Poly was a really good team with lots of really good players. Barden will be a 1st day NFL pick.
