I don't think we can shut down their running game like we did against Ohio, but I believe they will have to go to the passing game more than they want to. That's where we need to get more pressure on the QB and receivers and get a couple of interceptions. Special teams, field position, penalties, & turnovers in this game are going to be huge. I heard that their backup QB left the team this week. There will be 4 going to the game from here. Looks like it will be a great day weatherwise for a football game.
My guess is that AFA would go more the passing route against the rookie corners, since AFA is good at disguising when they will pass. But the weather forcast calls for pretty stiff winds. This might make longer passes iffy. The point spread favors the Pokes by 3. Last week it was 11 and look what happened.
Today's game is on TV in Montana! W00t! Gopokes, if you have Bresnan cable it should be on ch. 411 or thereabouts.

Wyoming was driving.. fumble by Crum on a run that would have picked up a 1st down.. Wyoming's defense is clamping down on the AFA rushing attack, punt by AFA. Good defensive battle.
Another punt by both teams.. battle of field position so far. Neither offense moving.
Crum gets popped behind the line, fumbles, AFA w/ good field position and driving.
Wyoming drives down the field... behind Seldon and Moore.. Jake Scott misses a chipshot FG. Suppose any soccer players are available?
Cowboys get a pick by Ward Dobbs, runs it back 30 yards, Cowboys kick a FG. 3-3. :37 left until halftime.
Halftime! Neither team can throw the ball, under 10 yards for both teams, probably combined, but the Cowboys are running the ball right down AFAs throat. Defense is shooting the gaps, and doing exactly what they should be to defense against AFAs rushing attack. Well coached defensive unit. Prosinski is pretty much a stud.
Cowboys stop the Falcons on the first drive of the 2nd half, AFA w/ a long punt, Seldon coughs the ball up on a dive, video reviewed, call stands, AFA in the redzone.
I was just made aware that we're switching punters like Steve Spurrier did with QBs.. not a good sign.

So... 3rd and four and we run a pitch to the outside. This did not pan out well. Cowboys punt, still 6-3. Defense is still shutting down the option attack.
AFA with a 74 yard run, ball now on the Wyo 2 yard line. Hold 'em defense! Cowboys followed the ball and didn't shoot the gaps. Prosinski was able to chase the carrier down.
AFA puts the ball in the endzone, Wyoming marching down the field now. AFA 48 yard line. Passing game is showing life..
Crum gets hit in the backfield, throws an INT. AFA hits a FG as a result. 16-3, AFA.
On a happy note, Colorado State is losing to Big Sky Conf. kicking post Sacramento State 20-17 in the 4th quarter.
QB change.. Sween is in, Crum out. Sween comes in for with a complete pass.. then three straight missed passes.
