So sad how LHS football's declined. Laramie dominated high school football in Wyoming for almost three decades. I think the last year they were really any good was my junior year when we won state championships in freakin' everything, and I mean everything. The banner still hangs in the LHS gym- 1985 Year of the Champions. Still the only team not from Jackson with an alpine skiing championship...

I remember the 85 game at Rawlins. My son played on the Rawlins team. It was a very, very close game played in the rain and Laramie won it on the last play of the game. They were the top two teams in the state - now they are the bottom two.
