I support Smith and I still haven't seen any video of the game. I know he hand signs a deceased friend's jersey number. It's one of those things that players need to think ahead of time about doing before doing it. Don't do anything after a score and in the end zone that can be used against you. Get off the field and go to the sideline where you can do whatever it is you do to celebrate or honor. All the players know to not take off their helmets during play. As an athlete and a young father in the past I always thought about my actions knowing that others were watching and learning from me.

I can't even put into words what I think about those two calls on Brett Smith.

That was the worst case of a referee inserting himself into the outcome of a game I have ever seen. The same ref made each one of the calls and he had something stuck up his butt the whole game. I just hate to see the outcome of a game determined by the refs. I'm not a big hater on refs either and usually give them the benefit of the doubt unless it's awful.

Like the infamous Seattle-Green Bay phantom touchdown?

I hope the MWC office investigates those calls on Brett Smith and the official that called them - they don't smell right.
