Big game (??) regarding a loss and tie for 11th or as good as a tie for 8th with a win. Of course the 9th/10th spot is in play depending on how BS, CS and Fresno perform.

For the remaining 12 games I will go with 5-7 is the best possible finish (7-13) to anticipate but I only expect a 3-9 to complete the regular season at 5-15 which is a likely solid 10th place. Either way it’s sliced, diced and packaged I don’t anticipate finishing higher than 9th.

After SJS, we get Utah St. 2X, the sheep 2X, and SDS at their place. So I would call this a big game, because the first part of february looks rough.

Must win for sure. And I think they will. They just need to find some grit and get after teams. Hopefully we get some guys back before the gauntlet!

Is anyone watching the game on the Mountain West app? I know this is being picky, but I do not like the McDonald’s logo super imposed on the court. I find it very annoying. Hopefully it is generating a lot of revenue for the program.

It’s high tech being done low tech. Same thing as the “first down” line in football except the logo stays over the player.

Not overly impressive other than any revenue helps support paying the AD!

We are 13.5 favorites in this game. SJS lone win in their last 9 games is Air farce. It's been a very even game. I think I'll just let it go at that.

Even though it was against a poor SJSU team it was a win. It’s very obvious that Naz is a factor and the team misses him playing.

I enjoyed weight 🍺 lifting in my recliner and might have to have a celebration 🍺!

No less than 9th with CSewe or a 3 way tie at 8th if Fresno loses. Wow - having to get excited about not being in 11th.

A win is a win! I’m just glad the boys had smiles on their faces once again!
No. It's not. If the Cheyenne Central boys beat a junior high team by one, would you say "a win is a win"? This win is as revealing as all the recent losses. On our home court, we beat a team whose only conference win was Air Force, in a nail biter. This team is as bad as any team in the conference, except Air Force. It's depressing watching just how poorly this team shoots the ball (2-16 from 3). What an absolute joke this program is.

Saying we are down two starters and one for the season. A win is a win.

I knew Meyer was out. Who is the second one? Is it Belic?
As much as Belic can drive us crazy, the man is the vocal leader for this team. I think what some fans are starting to realize is that vocal leadership matters. Also, I don’t think that we realized how much Harris had an impact, especially defensively. His long arms and court sense gave teams fits. So, having Naz out we miss points, having Harris out, we miss defense and a boost off the bench, and having Belic out, this team struggles to find its fangs. The injuries have also resulted in Sunny slowing them down on offense. That wasn’t the plan for the season, but when injuries happen, you have to pivot. The team is struggling with that. Not knowing what coaches are really telling them for a game plan, that’s what it appears to be anyway. And when you’re told to be patient on offense, but then get yelled at for not shooting open shots, you get flustered. A quick miss gets you benched, or a no shot? Confusing. Now, yesterday, it seemed Sunny didn’t do that as much, so maybe they actually communicated that to him. Who knows! That all said, I’d rather get behind my team and celebrate a victory instead of watching from home and becoming a disgruntled fan on a message board. So, again, a win is a win, and I’ll take it any day of the week against any opponent.
