Game is Saturday in the AA, pack that place! Students will be back so it should be a good crowd.

But there are some other MWC games between now and then.
Tomorrow (sunday)
AFA @ SDSU

Tuesday
Boise St. @ Nevada (undefeated in MWC play...REALLY?)

Wednesday
SJSU @ AFA
UNLV @ New Mexico
CSU @ USU
Fresno St. @ SDSU

Then Saturday, which is full of MWC games including our game against SJSU
AFA @ CSU
UNLV @ SDSU
New Mexico @ Fresno St.
USU @ Boise St.

SJSU has a very rough week coming up.
They have to go to Colorado Springs mid-week then come up to Laramie on Saturday.

Wyo should win this game against SJSU and be 2-2 in MWC play.

SJSU is 0-4 right now in MWC play and could very likely be 0-6 in a week.

Spartans are an annoying team. 0-4....but they are hard to put away. Pokes should win this one.....but they'll need to take SJSU seriously. Obviously tonight proved that should's don't always go as expected.

Look what happens when they play at ANY elevation...
They lost to Weber State in Ogden by 17.
They lost to Utah State in Logan by 19.

I think with them traveling to Colorado Spring in the middle of the week, getting back to San Jose for a day, then turning around and coming to Laramie, Wyoming, they are going to get worked.

I think our players should take them seriously, but I really think Wyo should take it to them.

But of course now that I said that, we will lose on a buzzer beater.

lol They should be fine.....just no hangovers. Beating Boise @Boise is a great win.....but MWC play is looong and Wyoming needs a few more big wins to wash away some bad losses if it has any tourney aspirations. They celebrate tonight, but be focused going forward.

Won't be able to make this one, as I gotta make a trek to Arizona to thaw out for awhile and visit the Grandparents and "gulp" watch the Broncos win/lose, should be a good one for us, GO POKES

Game day!

Wyo really should dominate this game from start to finish, but SJSU still doesn't have a win in MWC play and they might be fed up with that and be fighting extra hard for a win.

In the rest of the MWC games, I think CSU beats AFA in Foco, SDSU beats UNLV in San Diego, NM wins in Fresno, and Boise beats USU in Boise.

I am coming with 4. One set of friends is bringing 4. Another set of friends will account for 2 more.

Rip 'em up, tear 'em up, give 'em hell Wyo.

Remember that Rashad Muhammad kid Wyo was recruiting and we wanted to come to Laramie?
Well he ended up committing to SJSU and is their leading scorer as a freshman. 17 ppg.

Impressive win today. Pokes looked good in almost all facets.

Nance dominated as he should have, Adams looked like the most athletic player on the floor, and was very impressed with Trey Washington.

This team might be hitting their stride at the right time. Should be 4-0 in the conference!

Not only SHOULD we be 4-0 in conference play, we SHOULD have beaten CU, DU, and SMU.

This team is a couple plays away from being REALLY good.

But they seem to have been figuring that out.

If they can go into AFA and get another road win, and get revenge on Nevada at home, then they will be 4-2 in MWC play and sitting in a really good spot.

Pokes did not beat the spread, however (which was 14-1/2)

I'm sure not concerned about beating a spread put up by bookies (and I doubt anyone associated with the team is either).

Pretty much. They got the win, by a solid score, so they're probably pretty happy with that. :thumb:
