Noticed that Shyatt has offered class of 2016 PG prospect Ladarius Thomas from Aurora Central.

Comment from Rivals:

2016 6'1 Point Guard Ladarius Thomas of Aurora Central-Thomas is arguably the second best 2016 prospect in Colorado behind only five star De'Ron Davis. Dynamic athlete with a smooth jumper and a couple of Division 1 offers already, including one from Wyoming.

I wonder if these guys are friends of Conway. Conway would be a great get for 2015, as he would be one of the first highly demanded Colorado guys in recent years to chose Wyoming. Adams is a stud but he was kind of an under the radar high school recruit.

Austin Conway is on a lot of lists. Either way, it's good to see Shyatt targeting the top Colorado talent. It would be nice to re-establish our link from Colorado high school ball to the NBA.

It's nice to see that Conway has Wyoming on top of his list right now. He's a three- or four-star, depending on the service and is listed as the top Colorado 2015 prospect by Scout and ESPN. The staff need to stay on Austin hard. I watched him in The Show a couple of weeks back and he is quick-on-quick. Now that Austin is fully concentrating on basketball, he should be able to refine his game. A few rough edges, but that's to be expected.

Most likely a pipe dream to get his teammate (4-/5-star De'Ron Davis), but landing Conway wouldn't hurt in pitching for him. Davis and Ladarius Thomas show as 1-2 for Colorado class of 2016. Wouldn't that be incredible to land one or both.

Here's a pic of Overland teammates Conway and Davis playing for USA 2015/2016 during the Adidas Nation tourney.

Shyatt has a lot of angles that favor us. We'll be playing in the nicest basektball arena on the front range in 2016. You can drive to every game from Denver. If there are multiple Denver kids, you can car pool.

I'm starting to get really excited about the six scholarships we'll have to fill in 2014/2015. If we can add depth with the 14 scholarships we're looking at Austin Conway, Hassan Thomas, and some other really talented guys for 2015.

2016 we'll have less to replace, so we can be really choosy that year.

I'd like to see us pick up Keith Stone in the 2015 class. 6'7 240 out of Florida.

He apparently loves the coaching staff. That's one thing in WYO's favor. He certainly could/would be a mismatch with his ability to shoot the three and also post up smaller guards. It will be interesting to see who else offers him moving forward.

Easily the nicest arena on the Front Range and one of the better facilities in the west when completed. Had a CU fan strike up a conversation with me the last time they were in Laramie. He thought the AA was much nicer than Coors. I hope he has a chance to see the new & improved version of the AA.

The overall talent level has improved considerably in Colorado in recent years. Here's hoping Papa Shy can mine that state effectively for upper-level/top talent in the years to come. Very important to break through down there.

Jonathan Barnes is already showing a nice little jump hook. Still very raw, but you can see why so many schools offered after the summer circuit. Really nice body, size and movement. Hundreds of hours in the gym with the UW staff should do wonders for the kid.

Wyoming has showed strong interest in 2016 guard Elijah Coleman. He's a teammate of Ladarius Thomas. It sounds like our staff has a pretty good relationship with Aurora Central.
