Should Wyoming join The Big Ea...I mean The Big National?

Start winning games and the talent will come to you, correct, so.....

...How do you win without talent? - THAT is the Wyoming dilemma.

I think you have to start with solid coaching. Good coaching can get you wins over more talented teams. Coaches good at recruiting can get talent, eventually it snowballs. But you need to consistently make good coaching hires... easier said than done... no one has a crystal ball, and most don't have a money tree to land Nick Saban or some of the other high profile coaches.

I think we have offensive talent... now we need to get tough on defense. Maybe we should go full contact to the ground during spring and fall practice (except on Qbs) We have enough WRs now and we can play with out RBs if needed so we shouldn't worry about injuries any more, lets worry about being able to tackle and break tackles.

But if any TOUCHES Brett Smith... that is just wrong!

Really... you think neither ESPN coverage or Boise State's focus on football are responsible for their current status. It is all from beating bad teams and 1 lucky win vs Oklahoma? If that is the case we should be trying to get in the worst conference possible.

Boise St had to be doing something right to get enough talent to beat OU even if they did take them lightly. Boise St was smart enough to practice trick plays and be ready for any situation. You don't just beat top 10 teams in BCS bowl games by getting lucky, you have to be pretty decent, which doesn't come from beating up on bad teams alone.

Also it seems unlikely to think beating bad teams helped, but the fact they were beating them on ESPN didn't help?

They have only had 5 losing seasons in 44 years, the last one being in 1997. They have hosted football clinics for highschoolers from the West Coast for at least 20 years.

I agree that success builds interest, and that they racked up a lot of wins vs bad teams along the way. I can see that maybe they did it in spite of the ESPN deal, or with help from the ESPN coverage, but I can't believe it was from neither their effort, or the coverage, and it is all based on easy schedules and trick plays against OU.

Doesn't have shit to do with ESPN what they did they did with MONEY they hired a great coach and a great staff and allowed him to build a program. But ESPN has nothing to do with their success.

I can buy that... it wasn't an easy schedule and luck vs OU.

It has been a very long building process to get to where they are today it actually came easier then some would understand. Boise dominated the same WAC that we left and when we left it there was no one to really dominate. So they scheduled games against top rated teams and got some to bite.

What they did came with a lot of money that is for damn sure as long as they have that coach they will have a solid team but once anything athletic changes. AD, Coach anything they will be in bad shape recovering.

Bad website rumor. Even the Arkansas fans on Twitter say that publication is not reliable. Read the article......throwing crap at the wall and hoping it sticks.

Wouldn't be shocked at all to see him leave Boise after this debacle of a realignment again. He would be wise to get out of Boise before they collapse in the big least.
