I think UW will put together a 3 game winning streak to end the season, and catapult themselves into a MWC championship contender in 2011. Returning 17 starters is something we have not had the luxury of, for many, many years (95 - 96 was the last time I believe we had more than 15 returners).

Go Pokes!

I wouldn't look for more than 2 current o-line to be starting next season. I'd look to see a couple red-shirts and a jc transfer to take over. Leonard looks lost most of the time and Hutchins can't seem to play w/o at least 2 false starts a game. Carlson needs to get better at snapping the ball as he's cost us 18 points with bad snaps this year. I really hope these red-shirts are what they are cracked up to be as this is is this teams biggest weakness.

I would have to disagree when we say we will miss Leonard a ton. I love the guy, but this year has been kind of a disappointment for me. Coming off of the NM Bowl, I was expecting a huge year. He has had some big games, but conversely, some HUGE mistakes. That 88 yard punt really swung the game on Saturday. The fumble against Air Force was catastrophic.

My observation is that Herron will be a big factor next year, if the coaching staff uses him correctly.

I'm still holding out hope that we'll land at least a couple of these tall guys to replace Leonard:

http://rivals.yahoo.com/wyoming/football/recruiting/player-Josh-Doctson-114029 (we're the only ones he's interested in? Sweet!)

Then we obviously still have hope that Herold, Lambert, Josh Smith, T.J. Smith, Sullivan, or even Tooley (if he's back for good?) turn out as well. I really like tall receivers for the mismatches they create. Even if they can't get enough separation, the QB always has the option to put the ball where only the receiver can make the play. If they're slippery too? Awesome.

Then we obviously still have hope that Herold, Lambert, Josh Smith, T.J. Smith, Sullivan, or even Tooley
Herold? who is herold?
Is David Tooley even on the team? we could really use him and i also think Aiken could be good next year along withMazi

yeah but we lose david... thats a huge loss
So is Bolger's loss. We will miss both as they usually will catch anything close to them.

Our recieving corps have sunk to this level...damn. Don't get me wrong...they are the best we have...but niether would start (or maybe even be a back up) under Roach / Tiller...and early Dismal.

So what you're saying is... we need a way to sneak Floyd back onto the team.

Hmmm...

I agree with McPeachy, we look to be better next year before even considering new recruits, we lose some good players, but this senior class is thin and we return a ton of experience. I think next years team will be DCs best team yet.
