San Diego State junior Vincent Brown, the nation's sixth-leading receiver, is expected to be out at least two or three weeks after undergoing surgery Friday on his injured right thumb.
Brown suffered the injury in the second quarter of last week's 42-28 win at Colorado State. Aztecs coach Brady Hoke said Brown suffered ligament and capsule damage, requiring surgery. Hoke said he expected to have a better idea of how long Brown would be sidelined after surgery.
