Don't sleep on this kid... did some really nice things on the scout team last year. All three QB's are sure to work their tails off this winter in the weight room and watching film. I'm really looking forward to spring ball.

At one point I though he might switch to WR or another position. He probably won't now with possible depth issues. I really liked this kid when he was coming out of highschool and I think he could play any number of position since he is so athletic (wasn't he a high caliber sprinter in highschool?),

agreed, we shouldn't sleep on any of them. from what i've seen, most of them are pretty elusive, which was acs best quality, being able to stay alive long enough to try to make something happen. depending on who is at qb we could have an option heavy run spread offense, a pass heavy spread offense, or somewhere in between. personally, i would like to see us throw it around a lot, but we probably will lean a lot on AA and the backs now.

acs was pretty field smart as well, he was great at getting just enough yards for a first down.

I wouldn't put money on any one of them to start the first game because it is SO open to anyone now.

Maybe what frustrates me as much as losing specific players is the numbers. We were finally going to get some depth going and now bam 3, 2 yr starters with 2 yrs left leave the program. On the bright side I think this recruiting class looks pretty good. Wish we had a stud DT in there.

A few here on Wyonation have said that Stratton red shirted this year, but I could have sworn that I saw him on the field for kick offs during the CSU game. Can anyone confirm one way or the other?

Glad to hear that he (Stratton) was getting some reps on the scout team last year. If his injury from HS is fully healed, I think he could make an impact at QB. If it was him that I saw on kick offs against CSU, he's looking bulked up and tough!

GO POKES!

You might have saw Patrick Hartford from Rock Springs. He has the same number as Stratton.
