Fanbases more focused on hiring a new staff or wishing a new staff were possible.

Always great to beat the sheep and they are definitely down. So are the POKES. Whose down less?

I thought about sending an encouraging email to JJ but UW doesn’t include his email on the website. I decided not to encourage Sawful because he already has said he needs to be better for the second consecutive season.

Actually - I wouldn’t waste the time doing anything more than watch. So done with any overall enthusiasm.

The program may get to 4-4 this weekend but is very unlikely to finish any better than 5-7. The Wyoming AD expects the fan base to get a big woody over the “improvement” as if losing can be considered an accomplishment.

The move by CSU may or may not pay off dividends in the near future but it at the least sends a message to the commitment of pursuing success.

All we who dream of winning can do is watch each game, hope for a win and maybe be surprised if the program gets to the Arizona bowl again. I guess that would be the less bitter pill to swallow than finishing sub .500 again. As hard as this is to say, I would rather see the program get to 6-6 this year and leave the fan base with a glimmer of hope it will continue to improve. It would be better than wallowing in misery for 3 additional years.

I hope we don't get to 5-7. With 5 wins, TB will extend Sawful until 2040.
