Sad Showing of Attendance on CBS

"Purp" thanks for the student perspective - hopefully someone from the Athletic Department and Marketing will read that. How involved are the players in the community? I've seen some charity photos here and there, just curious. Having the players connect with the local community more, might not be a bad investment. Soup kitchen, go to the high school games, anywhere that humans congregate when its 20 degrees outside.

How about we consolidate all the fans to one side of the building? And did the LPD really tell students to sit down??? Sad if they did. You would never see Kentucky PD or North Carolina PD telling the students to sit down - the adults that don't want to be around all the fun just need to sit in a different area. Students should be on both sides of the court by the hoops, screaming from both ends, getting in the heads of the opposing teams and supporting the Pokes. Make those two areas the hottest student ticket on campus coupled with my thoughts below about a drink and popcorn - something and they'll show up.

Lastly, we should sell season tickets next year for $99 for ALL home games. That would be like $7 a game, include a drink and popcorn - kids like to be entertained and fed and if we give them something to do with refreshments they might show up. And the faculty, why not. Oh and lets win 20 games next year, that'll help to.
They were all over that shit last year, they've gotten a lot better this year. I saw they had signs in the student section alerting people that it was a cheering section

Seriously??  Only in Wyoming do we need a sign to inform people that they are at a sporting event and in a section where cheering will take place :tickedoff:

Not that it makes it any better. But the sign(s) are in the student section saying that fans may be standing. Those signs went up after the fiasco that happened last year with a few students being removed from the venue for refusing to sit after a mother (in the student section) complained about students not sitting.

It doesn't help when fans who aren't originally from Wyoming are told they aren't "true fans" because they haven't been following the team from birth. Hard to expand the fan base that way.
