Only thing I can think of that even remotely makes sense is that they want Air Force to prepare for him rather than Overstreet?
I have been only able to watch the games on TV. For those that have been at the games, are opposing defenses able to defend our receivers better because they do not have to worry about our running game as much? If so, what does that defense of our receivers getting open look like?
On TV it looks like they generally have trouble getting open.

Yeah, no real running game most of the season. Only once did we have a halfway decent mark running the ball.
Hopefully with Overstreet, that changes for the rest of the season. If we have a credible running threat outside of Allen, then that will force defenders to focus more on the run game while opening things up for the passing game.
